I suppose all of you are familiar with the phrase above.

Well, I have recently graduated from college and I’m having this feeling that I haven’t learned anything with the many years I spent in college (no need to specify how many years lol ) . As you can see, I took a course which teaches us a little about anything, thus the label -> ‘Jack of All trades, master of none’.

Imagine having to learn a little bit of accounting concepts, a peck of programming, a teeny tiny info ’bout system administration, a wee bit of web design, a dash of system analysis, a pinch of project management, and so on and so forth ~

So, how does it feel? Versatile.

this is it! well, I’ve been so busy lately with school stuff.. projects, exams, etc… Finally I’m done!

Ever have that feeling that you are being manipulated? set-up? mocked? and humiliated in front of everyone else? Well, I have too. But fortunately, we aren’t going to talk about any of those things. haha.. yep, just wanted to get your attention..

So, let me talk about sleeping. Sleep is a very important thing in your life. Whether you like it or not, there always comes a time where you would have to go to sleep. Your body needs to rest. I bet everything needs to take some slack time. There’s no such thing as perpetual energy.

We need an average of 8 hours of sleep. For those who dread the act of sleeping may ask -> Why so Long? For those who see ’sleeping’ as the best part of their day may ask -> Why so short? Well, lets find out by having a look at some of the reasons why we need sleep.

I surfed the net and found some cool facts about sleeping:

We need sleep because it helps with our Memory and Learning. Taking enough sleep organizes our memories. After you learn something new, sleep may solidify the learning in your brain. So if you seem to notice that you have been forgetful lately, try to take some sleep.

Also, sleep enhances our Mood and Social Behaviors. The parts of the brain that control emotions, decision-making, and social interactions slow down dramatically during sleep, allowing optimal performance when awake. So try to have a good night’s sleep or else you’ll end up unleashing Mr. Cranky pants in the morning.

Mr. Immune System also gets affected when you don’t take sleeping seriously. You see, sleeping is kind of like the tool or charger for our bodies to regain energy. Therefore, without energy, our immune system gets weak.

Hey! To all the people who feel that they are being deprived of the gift of height, strength or intelligence, listen up! I have good news. I have just discovered the solution to your development needs. It’s not a wonder drug, it’s natural, and totally not a scam. Introducing.. Sleep. Yep, growth hormones are released during sleep, and sleep is vital to proper physical and mental development.

You may have wondered why the title of my blog is “kuan”.. well, here’s the reason..

“Kuan” is a visayan word with practically no meaning. Somehow it means “what you call it”.. or something like that… It has always been used in day to day communication among visayans.. and yet, there seems to be no exact meaning of it.

With that in mind, you can expect to read posts and many other things in my blog concerning subjects or topics relating to almost anything.

As we say in bisaya, “Ang sulod sa akong blog kay kuan…”
